| Hi everyone! I have three boys, 3, 2 and 8 months and have decided to stay home after having my third son. It has been a tough transition since I really enjoyed my job, but I have realilzed the benefits of being at home will certainly be outweighed later. I was reading a post from some one previously about feeling like you are losing yourself now that you are home, and I completly have felt that. I even started resented my husband for wanting me to be a SAHM, sad but true. My attitude drastically changes once I spend a little time with the boys, playing trucks with them or just talking to them. I really enjoy being about to see the different stages that they take in life, from learning new words, sounds of letters, to the beginnings of crawling. It is excited to live through these precious moments. But yes, I do miss the adult interaction and the pat on the back when I completed a task at work. I am glad that there are other moms who feel similar and I hope to get to know more moms that are at home. |

Hi Jessica,
It is always nice to hear you are not alone! My name is Jeanna and I have an 8 month old daughter. I am a SAHM as well. I would not trade being home with her for anything in the world but of course I miss the outside world!
