Not sure...

If I qualify here, my kids are actually 24, 21 & just turned 18. I still have ongoing "teen" issues with my youngest, A senoir in HS this year. He just recently (2 weeks ago) signed a 12 month lease on an aprtment with his girlfriend! YIKES!!!! I am hoping to get to know some of you & perhaps even be a bit of support at times:) and would also love feedback on issues of my own raising this last one. Whew!

Hi Carol, Welcome! My kids are almost 13 & 16 so i'm not sure if i can help but i know sometimes you have to let them make their own mistakes in life even though you KNOW they are making the wrong choice. Express your thoughts to him though, he will walk away anyway but your thoughts will stay w/ him. Hope it helps.

Just like the teen years don't necessarily begin right at age 13, neither do they end upon a teen reaching legal adult status. Welcome to the group! I have a 12yo daughter, a 17yo son, and a 23yo son.
