I too have a Son who is 10 years old and has ADD (with no behavior problems). My 5 year old daughter is experiencing some of the same behaviors you discribed in your son. She has not been diagnosed with anything yet but we are due to see our peds. doctor next week. I have worked in the social service field for 18 years and thought I could handle anything but now I an seriously questioning my own abilities. At home she is not problem, but that is because my husband and I are on her like glue. At school she runs a muck. She his hitting peers, spitting on peers and refuses to commply with the teachers requests. She is according to the teacher disruptive, defiant and uncoorpoprative. There is a pattern with her in that the more lax the teacher the more she pushes the limits. Maybe we can chat and share suggestions on what works and what doesn't.
