| I'm Amber a SAHM to two boys. Caleb 3 1/2 and Elijah who is 7months old. We are moving to the Clarks Summit/ Scranton area soon. My husband is going to go back to school at the BBC next year. We currently live in NC and have for two years now. I am looking forward to learning about the area and hopefully making some friends for when we move up there. |

Hi Amber,
I have two little ones as well. My son, Paul, will be 3 in November and my daughter Amy will be a year on Saturday.
I live in Plains Twp, right outside of Wilkes-Barre which is next to Scranton.
It's a nice area, be prepared for a slightly colder climate.
From what I understand, Clark Summit is a nice area to raise children. Generally, communities around this area are very proud of their history and ethnicity. There's a lot of local festivals and such.

| thank you for the welcome! we may live in scranton it just depends since we are going to rent first since we really dont know much about the area. we hope that we can make it up there soon, we are waiting on our current home to sell! i have some cousins that live in allentown, Pa so i know that the weather will be alot colder!! but i would rather but cold then hot because these south summers are killing me!! |
