Free Thinking Mamas around St. Louis
Public group from Saint Charles, MO

I wanna play!
Mainly because Andrea said snarky....

...and I breastfeed (in public *gasp*), co-sleep (oh, the horrors!), wear my little guy daily, and make all my own baby food from (yep, you guessed it) organic food.

I'm a new SAHM to a beautiful, almost 5 month old boy.

Good to hear there are more of me out there.... Muahahahahahaha!

Boo! Hiss! You breastfeed in public?! But that's TABOO! You co-sleep?! Your child will never sleep in his own bed! Mama will have to go to college with him because he'll need to be breastfed and have mama to sleep with!

OH THE HUMANITY!!!!

hee hee! Glad to see you Nikki!

I am so excited and proud of my little guy!! After our talk this morning about the sleeping issues, I decided to try putting him down in his CRIB for a nap. I put him in there to explore while I was putting up the doorway gate (did I mention I have a severely obese cat who *scratching head* can somehow manage to get into the crib?). Anyway, the next thing I know it has become really quiet. I sneak up to the side of the crib and he is sound asleep with his thumb in his mouth!! WTH? I distinctly remember telling you this morning that he does not just "fall asleep" on his own. I think he's been holding out on me... So, I'm going to put him in there for bed tonight (at least for the first 3 hours) and see how he does. Maybe he just needs his own space far, far away from my boobie smell? The thumb thing kind of scares me as his mommy was an avid thumb sucker until the age of 10, but if it helps me get some sleep I am ALL for it!

Like I said in the other post, I am in for apple picking! If no one else wants to go, we could ride together. There is another place in Augusta, too. I don't know how long it takes to get to Eckert's. Augusta is about 35 mins. I have an old hand crank thingy for making applesauce that I've been dying to try out. Don't know how to make applesauce, but my mom has been doing it forever. Guess I'll find out.

Good to get together today. See ya in the morning!
