I am also, looking for a mommie group, can't find one around here.. we did have one that we went too, tots @ play. we were not happy with this group. they lie about what they expect of the group and they gossip too much! They say they will take anyone but they don't.. this is another story at a different time to tell.. but, can't find another group in my area other than that one.. I don't want to start another one, don't want the resposibility.. I have lived here all my live and can't belive I can't find a group.. looked at my churches and nothing for my son at 2yrs old.. so, if you hear of a group let me know..

I do not lie and I don't appreciate you using forums around the web as a place to bad mouth me. You email me directly as if we are buddy buddy and yet then blast lies about us on the web. Please note that we don't like drama and those that lie and that if you told the truth everyone would know why you are no longer a member of T@P. I am very sorry to anyone else that reads this. The person has changed their name and gotten people fired from the place of work due to her lies. Her child has hurt other children and she abused friendships. I will remove myself from this group at this point but I felt that it was not fair for her to sit her and tell "fish stories" about a group I have worked very hard to create, without at least being able to post the truth. She is very sweet in person and will pull at your heart strings and then she will lie to you and threaten you and your family in the next breath. I never would have said a word except for she decided to post about Tots @ Play. Thank you for your time and please have a GREAT day! |

friendship wine and dine is a good group. you might want to look into that group. They have been great. Also, check with a local church for a MOPS group. Our church has one but it is in Belton. But, I do know other churches do this also. Hope you find a group that is for you, there has got to be one out there. Good luck.
also, there is a killeen area mom's group. Haven't gone to anything there yet, but seems good and around the area you want.

My name is Megan and it seems like we have a lot in common! I, too, am an Army wife and looking for a playgroup. My son is 4 months old. My husband and I have been here for 2 years, but all of my friends are childless (which is amazing since I'm 32!!). I'd love to meet up sometime if you're interested. Let me know what you think! :) |

| There are several groups around.. Just get on the computer and look up mom groups in your area. I finally found one and am happy with it. Good luck. There is a group out there for everyone.. I said not to go to Tots @ Play, but that group might be for you. I was just in a bad mood at the time of the last post about that group. Since gotten over it. But, you might want to check them out.. They always did some fun things, and not anything to pricey or anything. Look them up! |

| There are many in this area. Does anyone know which ones have a lot to do and have kids under the age of two? Some you have to pay a membership. I don't want to join something that I'm not getting my monies worth. |

| In Belton I am a part of a group called Faith & Fellowship Mom's group! we just started upWe are small but growing. I went to high school with the lady that started it.. It is a good group, though you can be a part of many groups. And we do things that a free and some that cost, but you don't have to pay to be in this group! Also, there is Tot's @ Play in Temple they are a LARGE group, I was a part of that group, but not to get into it, but I am no longer with that group. But, they do a lot of fun stuff, and it is free to join and they do some free stuff and things that cost money also. Like both groups and both have young children as well as some older than 2 yrs old.. My kids are 2 1/2 and 8 yrs old...Let me know what you find.. |

Got to go and make lunch for my son and then go get my daughter from school and then take her to see High School Musical 3 at the Beltonian theater in Belton..
