Fall Activities

Anyone have any suggestions on some great local activities for fall the are "can't be missed" type things. I live in Mars and I hear the the AppleFest is a local event that I should make time to go do. Anything else?

It's not completely "local", but our family really enjoys Idlewild's Hallowboo... the kids get to get all dressed up and go trick or treating through Storybook forest, and they also have a few rides open.
