| Hey I'm Shawana. I'm a wife and mom to 3 boys. Duncan (8) Donovan (6) and Charlie (21 months). I'm from Lawton/fort sill ok but due to the army we have moved to Enid. I'm a SAHM for now but I'm thinking about working next year. I don't know anyone in the Enid area and definately looking forward to meeting new people! |

| It's not bad. Lawton isn't that big so I'm used to smaller towns. Are there any playgroups going on here? |

| No I'm not, I just found this one. Man It's getting so cold out! We just had a soccer meeting and lemme tell ya, this is not soccer weather! I will check out cafemom and see what they have...thanx :) recommend any good restaurants around here? |

| Western Sizzlin is good, La Macarena is good if you like Mexican food, Napoli's is good if you like Italian, let me see, last time I was at Applebees it wasn't too good, La fiesta is pretty good too, Golden corral is good but expensive. There are some to get you started lol. |

| Yea, La Macarena is better than La Fiesta. I don't do anything..I am a boring SAHM lol. No..there really isn't a lot to do with the little kids and both of mine a pretty young. When its warmer there are the parks...and the water park over by the Armory. I took Brysen there once and he loved it. How long have you lived here? |

| Ok I will check it out! We have lived here since mid August so still getting used to everything. Yeah don't feel bad....I am totally boring too...lol. I just got done cleaning and we're watching Diego fun fun...lol |

| I need to cook lunch...and clean...but we are watching the Noggin with all the preschool shows. We just got done watching Spider patch something lol. My toddler loves all these shows. He makes me so proud. He has certainly learned a ton since watching it daily. lol My baby can count to 10 now. I feel like I am gonna cry. |

| Awww that's great! Yeah we are watching Noggin now too. I love Miss Spider, it's such a relaxing cartoon. It does seem like they learn alot from these preschool shows, it's great! I think I am gonna put him down for a nap tho, I'm ready to watch a real show...lol. Yaay for naptime :) |

| Lol. It is a fight to put Brysen down. He is always so wired up to play and hates to sleep. My 9 month old is sleeping though, so at least I have one down. |

| Trust me it took forever! I can't wait for this week to be over! Already it's been a crazy one. I think I'm going to go home this weekend...I need a vacation...lol. I've been a SAHM for 2 months and I think I miss working. I was a travel agent so I got the scoop on destinations etc. Have you always been a SAHM? |

| I have been a SAHM since being pregnant with my first. I need a job. My dad works at the Jumbos on 30th, and they are hiring. I might go there and apply. I have been so out of work though for the last 3 years, I am so afraid to go back to work. |

| What's the Jumbos? I'm job searching as well. I just need something that will cover childcare and I have extra or its not worth it. Any companies that you know of is good? Is pay ok around here? |

| Jumbos is a grocery store. They have on on South 30th and one on West Willow. There is also a Braums, I know personally that the one on Willow needs help because my Husband is the Store Manager. They start there at 8.00 an hour. They also have Startek which is an inbound call center. They start pretty good and you make pretty good money. Advance food company has a daycare and they make good money, but i have heard its not too good a place to work. Good luck in your job hunt!! :) |

| I think I will start putting in applications next week. So do you have any show addictions? Omg mine are The hills, JDMA, Ugly Betty, Making the Band...just to name a few...lmao. What's sad is...there are more haha |

| Oh yea, I have shows. lol I like the hills, Secret Life of an American Teenager, Big Brother, Greys Anatomy, Army Wives, Young and the Restless...and I am sure there are more. I mostly enjoy reality..but yea..lol thats just a few. |

| Ok now I don't feel so bad...lol. So is there anything cool to do here on the weekends? I love the fact that there's alot of places to shop here. Is there anything in the mall besides Penneys, Dillards, and Sears? My favorite store is Maurices so anything like that is great! And yeah I love Army Wives too, I've missed the last 2 episodes tho. Anything exciting happen? |

| There is bowling, um..movies..lol a club and some bars if you are into that. Not much though. Army Wives was showing old shows up til last sunday. This sunday will be a new one too. What did you do today...all the rain was annoying. |
