looking for play mates
Does anyone have a suggestion on how to get your child interacting with childern their own age when no play groups are in your area? We go to church and he has a couple of kids close to his age but wanting more options. We did not have this with our oldest (18) we lived around family and always seem to have kids his age in the neighborhood. Don't have that now.

Hey there Jess :) I would suggest looking at your local libraries... all 3 of ours have children's programs/story times and are just awesome, my 2and a half year old loves it! I do too, it's free, and gets you involved with local mom's! Also... you could always try to start your own playgroup once you meet some other mom's... or use this site to search for parents in your area by searching the parents section using your zip code... ask them if they are interested and start a group for all to join... it can be slow going but is definitely worth it :) Hope any of that helps~
