Looking for help on locating a pre-school in my area. I live in Boonton and would like to stay local. If no name suggestions perhaps questions to ask of the school while I am looking. Any advice would be great. Thanks so much, Nancy

Hi Nancy, sorry I can not help you with a location ( I am in CO) but as far as questions go- I was a preschool teacher for 10 years. Make sure you can "drop in" and peek anytime. Not neccessarily to go in the class because that can be very disruptive to your own child as well as the other children. Also, you want to make sure the teacher gets down on their level to interact with them. I personally think flexibility needs to be a factor as well. As mouch as kids need routine they also need to know that if they need a snuggle, play and giggle time that is not on the "schedule"- you are there for them! good luck to you!!
