Hi my name is Alisa and I would like to welcome you to the group. I hope that we can all become friends and that this group will help you find other mothers that are going through the same things you are going through and the same time. Have discussions about what works best in raising your child and give helpful advise to other mothers who need help. I also hope that this group will help mothers that live near each other set up play dates because I personally know it is hard to find other children of the same age to interact and play with your child. So I hope you enjoy this group and I thank you for joining.

Alisa-Thank you so much for creating this group! My name is Emily-Rose and my daughter Ember Rayne was born on June 12th. We live just North of Seattle and can't wait to find other moms in our area. Unfortunately, I did have to go back to work when she was a month old but I get to bring her with so it's not too bad.

My son Martin Constantine was born on June 28 and I was going to school before he was born. Now that I have him it is hard to go back so I am hoping that I can enroll in some online courses just until he is old enough to be put into daycare at the college. Before he was born I thought that it would be easy to find daycare for him, but I was unaware that most daycares do not take children that are not potty trained. It seemed when I was growing up daycares would take infants, but I don't know when the transition to them not taking them happened. It completely surprised me and set my plan of going back to school on hold so until he is old enough I will be a SAHM.
