Hello Colleen and welcome to Homeschooling Parents. Please feel free to post and ask questions. I am Jody the moderator of the group. I will be starting the fourth year of homeschooling my 2 boy's, 8 and 6. I and the other members look forward to getting to know you.

Hi Colleen! Welcome to the group! I homeschool 2 teenagers and we've been homeschooling for 4 years.

Hey! Thanks for the welcome! I never thought that we would homeschoool are children, but it seems like we are bumping into more and more people that homeschool and think it might be a good route. I am especially interested in combining our education at home with a hybrid school or even starting a school where similar minded mothers would collaborate to teach their children. Right now we have two busy 17 month old toddler girls and one little baby boy on the way in a couple months, so we have a couple years, but now is definitely a good time to start doing some research and formulating how we may or may not do this!
