Hi Heather. I'm Angie. I have 3 kids (very soon to be 4). My oldest is 6 He's going into the first grade. I also have twins, Katie and Scott, that will be 5 on the 15th of Sept. On the 16th of Sept I'm scheduled to have a c-section we're expecting another boy.
I Just joined the group last week at their general meeting. So far so GREAT! The meeting was really neat. Today I met up with some of the moms and kids for lunch and it felt SO GOOD to get out. Tommorow we are supposed to go to pick apples at a farm or orchard in Biglerville PA (Near gettysburg). Hopefully it won't rain too bad! I'm told that most the time they try to keep their stuff in town but occasionally there is something that is worth the trip.
I moved to chambersburg 2 years ago in oct. and besides doctors and dentists I haven't met or talked to anyone and I've pretty much been going crazy. I'm also a stay at home mom I have been since a couple months before I had my first. My husband is a Truck Driver and my family lives in MD 1 1/2 to 2 hrs from here. I am SO LONELY! I'm definalty starting to feel much better now though that I have found this group of women who are so far just amazing in my opinion.
They just started a really great page on myspace where you can read a lot about who the group is and what they do and you can see in Sept we have A LOT of stuff planned!

I just saw you were from waynesboro. I think they have their own group. I'm sure it's very similar although I wouldn't have the contact information you may find out more on this website about the whole thing and if they do have a chapter in Waynesboro

The MOMS Club has two chapters in Chambersburg. The West and East. Your address would determine which chapter you would be able to join. Since there is not a chapter in Greencastle or Waynesboro you could join either the Chambersburg West or East Chapters. We would not want you to miss out on any support/fun/playgroups just because there is not a chapter in your specific town.
I also wanted to personally invite you to our OPEN HOUSE. It is being put on by both the West and Eastside Chapters. So you can come with your children and have them play and enjoy the fesitivities while you come and chat with other at home moms. You can come see what we have to offer you and your family!
FALL OPEN HOUSE!!! Open to all Moms looking for activities for the children and yourself! We offer weekly activities for you, MOM, and the children mostly during the day and some last afternoon activities for husbands that may work a later shift. We all need support no matter what time of day it is and no matter what age your children are!
Tuesday, October 21, 9:30am to 11:00am.
We will have fun games, crafty crafts, yummy snacks, beverages, candy and festive goodie bags! COSTUME’S WELCOME!
Great opportunity to get some use out of their Halloween costumes!!!
