Sleeping help!
I tried the CIO method for about a week and could not do it. Now my son is 16mths and I am still in bed with him (and without my husband). Until 2 days ago I nursed him to sleep for naps, bedtime, and back to sleep in the middle of the night. I have been sucessful weaning him and he is sleeping better at night. But still wakes up and checks to make sure I am there. My next step is to get back in bed with my husband and start on baby # 2. lol But I don't know how to do that.

What if your husband sleeps with the baby? That's what we did. She still cried, but it wasn't the same as the CIO method cuz someone was there comforting her. After a few days of dad, she gave up, and slept thru regardless. Or you could just have your husband go in and check on him when he wakes up. Or just start sleeping in your own bed, and when he wakes up looking for you just go in and comfort him a little.
Sounds like you're getting there anyway though... just one step at a time... eventually you'll make it!
