Hi all! Im new to this group and recently new to Virginia! My husband is in the service and we are expecting our first child in october and are looking for other parents to hang out with, and join a group with. What activities do you guys do!?

Hi Jessica I am new to this group. I am in the service myself and have daughter who will be 2 this month (september). I am not sure what this group does, but I recently found out how many interesting programs the Prince William and Fairfax county parks and recrection centers offer from early on!! (just a few months old through adult). I encourage you to check out their websites. I just enrolled my daughter in parent-child swim lessons--but there are tons of other things too!! I just hope I am really able to attend these with my daughter as I was put on alert Friday to possibly go to new orleans this week to help with relief and clean up from this hurricane!! Hope you enjoy the area. Lemme know if you have any questions. What branch of the service is your husband?
