That is very exciting! Congratulations! We are hoping to be blessed with another little one soon. We have been trying for a little over a year now, but have stumbled on some new information that should help us out.

so did you have trouble getting pregnant with your son or just this time? I have a friend who is really struggling with trying to get pregnant. the doctor wants her to use some med called clomaden (sp?) but she is not sure if she wants to. we are planning to try again next year for another one. I am staying home this year with Kayli. Do you work?

My son came along just fine. We had informally tried for approximatly three months with him. This time around has been a little harder. I actually had to have an emergency operation on Monday night. I had been going through horrible pain during the weekend and unbelievable bleeding. I went to the doctor Monday and later that night they did an emergency Dnc. They said that from my last miscarriage in July my body still thought I was pregnant and had built up so much lining that my body was going through labor trying to expel it. I was not having cramps like I thought I was, I was going through labor all weekend! And let me tell ya what it was worst then with my son!

We thought about Clomaden before we found out that I have problems braking down Folic Acid. I guess this is a very common problem that many women experience. We decided that we would try not to use it because of the chance of multiples. My husband has twin daughters and we did not want to take the chance of having another set. We just would not be able to afford it.

I do not work, I am a student. I just started my sophmore year of college!

I'm sorry to hear aout your DNC. I had to have one the week before the ralley. I have some scaring from the birth that was causing me to continue to bleed. Are you feeling better? I am finally feeling like I am recovered from the birth and DNC. so what are you going to school for? I am a teacher, but am taking some time off to spend with Kayli. if things work out I am going to stay home for a few years with her. With school starting I am missing teaching a little, but am really happy to be home. Kayli is changing soooo fast. I wish she would slow down, but I am looking forward to a whole night of sleep, she actually slept for 7 hours the other night! but last night we were back to waking up at 2. hope you are havign a nice labor day!

I am going to school to someday become a teacher too. I worked in a few of our area daycares and at the Horace Mann Discovery Center for the previous five years before I had my son. I have always had a love of helping children learn new and exciting things.
Congratulations on your full night of sleep. Tanis had a routine down fairly quickly and stuck with it. He would wake twice a night until he was almost one and then would wake just once for a quick little drink and then would go right back to sleep until he was almost 18 months old.

Hope you Labor was a good one.
