I looking into going cloth with my second child.
I only consider cloth recently. Im due in October with my second. I was talked out of even looking into cloth with my first. Not really sure where to begin because so far I have found a list a mile long both for and against cloth. Any advise for where to get honest answers.

First do you have any specific questions about cloth?
Second from my experience cloth has been pretty easy I started with my 3rd child and wish I had with my first - till we switched we had basically been buying diapers for 8yr straight.
You will save money in the long run -= the up front cost is more but over the time you diaper you will save money. Here are some sites with info on them for you
http://www.diaperjungle.com/index.html
http://www.pinstripesandpolkadots.com/basics.htm
this site has a calculator to help with cost comparison

I personally love my prefolds and one size diapers I like BG others here like Fuzzi buns i suggest trying only one or two of a type before buying like 15 of them that way if they work great but if they don't work for you since some diapers like clothing fits different babies better then other ones.
http://www.abbyslane.com/ is a great store I have ordered from her and had great customer service and fast shipping. Also I discourage buying off of ebay unless it is a reputable seller since most pp I know online and off that have bought off of ebay (from diaper people) have not had good experiences

Any other questions or need anything else let us know

It's really a personal decision. Cloth diapers are more work, but not as much work as some people make them out to be. The only person that can give you an answer . . . is yourself. What's your situation?
Do you have time in your schedule to do an extra (easy) load of laundry?
Do you have the money to invest upfront (actually less money in the long run, but it's expensive to get them all at once)?
Are you grossed out by poo?

My suggestion is to buy a couple of diapers and try it out. When I first started, I polled people to find out the favorite brands (BG 3.0 and FB) and bought two of each. I tried it for a week doing a load every night and found that it was easier than going to the store and dropping 15 bucks on diapers every 4 days. After that, I was sold and I've been using them ever since.

I do give myself a break and use disposables for days out of the house and if I'm not feeling well (one less thing to do). But, because I'm saving so much money, I can afford the 7th generation diapers.

Good luck and feel free to message with any other questions.
