Who has done one of these? Did you find it to be a big hassle? Did you make any money? We're moving from Sheppard AFB, TX to Scott AFB, IL in 2 months and we're weighing our options. We'll be house hunting when we get there so we'll have to store our household goods until we find and close on a house.

Me and my husband recently did a dity move from Cherry Point NC to Quantico VA. I honestly dont think that we really made any money. We already had an apartment and didn't have to pay to store anything, but with gas and the expense of the truck and the cost of hotels we might have made 200 bucks. I dont think it was worth the hassel personally. Next time TMO will move our stuff. Plus if you use TMO it might take them a few days or even weeks to get your stuff to you, and they store it all for free.
