Can i go back to SCHOOL?!
10 years ago the very idea of school annoyed me. I had just graduated hs and felt FREE!! I moved 800 miles from home, enrolled in a very prestigeous private college, and promptly threw it all away. i didn't go to classes, and when i did i was too far behind to keep up. i had been a smart but slacker student in hs and thought i could do the same in college-WRONG!!! i think i ended that first year with 12 credits.
So fast forward 10 years. I am now 29, married with 2 kids, working full-time and stuck in a rut. I would like to go back to school, via online college and get a degree that would at the very least allow me to earn more than i currently do, and in a best case senario i could stay at home with my youngest, who is 2 and growing up fast.
i know i have the brain for school, and now i have the "want" to go to school, which i didn't have at 18, but i'm afraid of the financial burden, and what if after all that, i still can't land a better job?
any advice?

I say go back! I am in school, work at home, and have a 5 month old daughter. The semester starts back Monday and I"m a little nervous but I just want to finish and have that degree. I have already gotten my AA just working on my BA in Elem. Edu. I know I won't be teaching until my daughter starts school but just to have it and know that if worst came to worse I could get a job. You will feel good about yourself I know you will! Plus it will give you a break from the hum drum of everyday life!
