| i'm a first time stay at home mom and i just don't know what to do with him all day. he's mostly awake during the day now(13wks old), and i don't want to sit around watching tv with him. i feel like it's too hot right now to take him out. any suggestions?? |

| I joined a mom's group in my town. Somethings are outside but some playdates are at other mom's houses! It was the best decision I ever made. Not only does my daughter enjoy it, but I love getting out of the house and meeting other moms:) Search online that's how I found mine. |

| The first few months are hard but I would suggest joining a local moms group with kids around the same age as yours. When my son was small we joined a local stroller strides group, which walked three times a week in the local mall. I made great friendships there! Good luck! Welcome to the SAHMS! |

| I know what you mean! I felt the same way with my daughter. I started bringing her to story time at the library and meet some great moms and kids there. Your park district might have some mommy and me classes too. I actually found a great moms group on meetup.com. It hard for me to get "out there" and meet people, but I pushed myself for my daughter - so far so good! Good Luck |
