mother looking for a playgroup/ learning group

Hello, we live in galveston and would love to meet up with some families that live here to do activities with. My dream is to find a few like minded parents with preschoolers, that would like to meet once or twice a week with a set curriculum for the month and we take turns teaching the kids. There may me something like this around. If so please forward me the information. If not lets get something started. I am willing to travel off the island short distances.
