| My 2 year old started going pee on the potty for about two weeks and she pooped only once on it, we even went to visit our relatives and she went on there potty as well, she has a 4 year old and a 1 year old so they have the potty chairs as well. But when we came home we ended up taking in to live with us for a month my Fiance's cousin which she has a two year old and a 6 month old, during this time she was so busy and distracted that she didn't want to use the potty at all, so now that they are gone, I'm trying all over again, she will siti there but do nothing so far, I just picked up another potty movie at the library, any other suggestions, please help. I use pull ups for now, and want to know if I should start with panties again or just wait a little longer? |

| I would wait a little longer and see what happeneds.. Remember her world was just totally invaded and shen needs to get back to a routine and get everything back to normal.. I not for sure if you want to do panties or pull ups, to me they are about the same. Which ever she wants to wear and which ever is better for you, and cleaning up messes. take it day by day and yes video is a great idea, my daughter watched all day long and took her 4 days to be potty trained. Though with her it was in the summer and our floor downstairs is tile so, messes weren't an issue with me. Though with my son 2 yrs old, we are going to start trying on Monday since my daughter starts school that day.. I bought some pull ups today to see who they work, but have undies also.. good luck and just be patient.. |

I started sort of training my 2 and half years old when she was about 1yr and now she tells me when she wants to poo or pee. The trick is to buy the toilet seat instead of the pot. Well, that worked for me. she love the "dora" toilet seat and I would occasionally ask her if she wanted to sit on it and pee, until it became a routine...
I used the pull ups until she turned 2, then I bought her favorite "princesses" panties. I only use the pull ups at night.
I know every child develops differently; my 4yrs old didn't start using the potty until he was almost 3yrs. So, hang on in there...
I hope this information helps... |

| from my understanding boys take longer and I have witnessed it.. my son is 2 and he doesn't even care.. my daughter as I have said was into it and by 2 was totally done pottie training.. so everyone that I know that has boys says they take longer, but some are different.. but from what I have learned boys take wayyyyy longer.. so don't worry.. |
