I'm in Battle Creek with my two sons. I'm looking especially for a playgroup for my 3-year-old. My name's David. |

I have been having difficulty getting a playgroup started. It seems that people want to do it but schedules never match up. I also live in battle creek and have two young boys (2 and almost 4). I only work 3 days a week and would be open to a playdate on any of my days off after 2pm. Let me know what you think. Thanks. Becky |

Well, that could be a very doable thing. My 3-year-old Brayden usually finishes his nap around 2:30 to 3:00. I live in Urbandale and the closest park near me is Fell park. There's a nice play structure there. Both of my children like that park, but we also use the Anybodies playground in Bailey Park. Piper park is another place they like. Those are some ideas.
Starting on October 3rd there is some kind of play activities at Full Blast which costs $2, although it's in the mornings. So, we'll probably do that. It'll run every Friday from then on. My 6 year old son will be in school then. |

Sorry, I didn't mean to reply more than once, but there was a weird thing going on with my computer or this web site. |

Funny... I live just down the road from Fell Park. We live on Myrtle Ave. I work Friday all day and will be out of town this weekend but I would love to schedule something for next week. Wed, thur, or friday possibly. My youngest can nap early and we could meet up afterwards. Let me know what would be best for you. Becky |

I'm pretty open right now. I don't have a work schedule, so anytime next week is great. My wife is a teacher for Battle Creek Schools, and next week she reports back. She was a teacher at Post, but now is at Verona. We live on Kellogg. My older son Kaleb goes to LaMora Park. He'll be with us. Because of his autism socially and emotionally he functions as a 4-year-old. Anyway, let me know what day works best. |

Would love to meet up. My youngest has just come down with a "summer" cold. Never thought that was possible but it appears so. We will be in touch and maybe early next week would be best to give him time. We wouldn't want to pass colds on. Talk with you soon. Becky |

That's fine. Next week is a little more complicated. Kaleb starts school and I'll have to pick him up around 3:30 each day. Wednesdays are the ideal day because on Tuesdays and Thursdays Kaleb has speech at 5:00. Would a 4:00 time work next Wednesday? If the weather is rainy we could play at the Burger King playland. Just a thought. |
