New mom looking for playgroup

Hi, I'm a new mom to a 4 week old daughter looking to meet other moms. I'm going back to work full time next week but have weekends and Mondays off. If anyone is available to get together during one of those days regularly please let me know. I don't have any friends who are moms so I'd really like to meet some! I'm 27 and live in SE Portland. Thanks.

Hi Amanda, First off, congratulations!! I hope you're enjoying being a new mommy--it can be a little crazy at first!! I have a 14 month old boy. I believe there is a Woodstock mom's group and a Sellwood mom's group. I don't belong to them but I've met moms who do. Myself, I do Stroller Strides. It's a moms group with exercise involved and I really love it. I actually run the one in NW Portland if you ever want to check it out--you could just come on Mondays if you wanted and we do mom's night outs once a month that you could hopefully attend. Anyway, good luck going back to work and maybe we'll see you at SS! Trish
