Re: Hi
Hi All,

I'm thrilled to find this group. I have 3 kids: my son is 15, my daughter is 13, and my baby daughter is 5 (the easy, sweet age). My husband & I really try to listen, love, spend time with the kids, and discipline them consistently. Rearing teens is still not easy. Did I mention that fervent prayer helps too? Talk soon.

Hi Karen! I have two kids still at home: Daniel is 17 and Rachel is 12, going on 25! I'm fortunate enough to be able to say that raising my teens is easier than I thought it was going to be...so far! They definately have their days when they make things more difficult than they have to be, but overall, I'm glad to have the kids I've got and not some others I've been acquainted with!

And I agree, prayer is essential!

Hi Karen, I agree, raising a teenager is hard work. What ever worked when they were small, no longer exists. Teenagers, just don't listen. My kids- 15 year old and a 5 year old are great kids. But, when my son get his "moody twin" in our home, it becomes a nightmare. He tests our patience everytime.

I am so glad they are almost going back to school soon.

Esther,

I think that all parents around the country are glad when the summer is over & the kids go back to school. Especially us mommies. Have a good week. Talk soon.

Hi Kelly,

I can't wait until my son is 17 & in the 12th grade. I've been prepping he & his sister since birth to be honest, ethical, spiritual and productive young people; hopefully it will spill over into adulthood as well. So far so good huh? Yeah! Talk soon.
