Anyone know anyone who has a child born with Hydronephrosis?

My son has Hydronephrosis and have yet to meet anyone who has a child with this. It is the restriction of the ureter from kidney to bladder.

Hello. My husband and niece have had problems with their kidneys but I'm not sure if that is what it is. My husband had surgury and my niece as well. She has had one surgury and probaly going back for another one in a couple of years. She gets alot of infections and temperatures. She has had her problems since she was born.

hi erin - our baby was diagnosed with hydronephrosis of the R kidney. the doctors suggested doing a procedure with a tracer to see where, if any, blockage had occured. but the procedure seemed pretty brutal for a 4 month old, and we opted to let her grow a little and do a follow up ultrasound - non invasive - to see if the R kidney had settled, was the same, or worse. our friend's baby was also diagnosed with hydronephrosis and is scheduled for surgery.
