Hi all,
I havent posted in a minute, but I had a nice email come to me today and although it's not anything new it motivated me. I thought I would share. Basically the email just talked about how we are so caught up in the trying to accomplish our set goals that we forget to take time to celebrate the little triumphs. Forgetting to celebrate the small accomplishments can make us weary as we travel toward the big one's. Refresh yourself by being thankful for what you have completed in your journey. Take it day by day. Dont be so focused on the graduation that you forget to praise you self when you complete a semester! Well you get the picture. It is a confidence builder you cant afford to do without on your road to success!
I guess it hit home to me especially because I have been busy trying to make my store a success and being worried about what I havent done, that it can be stressful, but I realized I needed to stop and take the time to praise my self for what I have accomplished thus far....
Thanks for listening |

Thanks Yvonne! I agree it is very important, because sometimes our mind takes us too far ahead into the future, and causes us to miss what "little triumphs" that are going on in front of us! So since I am writing a book, I have noticed this feeling come in that says, "it is not done, you may as well give up" in a way, it speaks, yet it is like a feeling of hopelessness that gets in the middle of me and my inspiration. Thanks for reminding me to celebrate each page, and not get too far ahead of myself, and to enjoy the journey along the way to my goals! Jennifer |
