Hello everyone! I have recently moved back to Virginia from Texas and I am very happy to be back. I am a new mommy to a wonderful 7 month old baby boy and I work full time in retail. I really want to be able to stay home with him but right now it just isn't financially realistic. So I was wondering if any of you mommies out there can give me some advice/info on working from home and what kind of things I can do from home to still bring in a little bit of income. I would research it on the internet but I'm afraid I would be drawn into some scheme and get into real trouble.
I can't wait to hear from some of you!!!

Hello, I just quit my job last week to become a full time stay at home mom to my 8 month old son Blake. I struggled everyday while I was working with leaving him and completely understand where you are coming from. It wasn't financially possible for us until we made several changes. My husband and I both had nice new cars which we traided in for one 2005 car, we cut back on some bills such as our cable package, internet service, etc. I also searched on the internet trying to find a way to make some money from home. I tried GBG a own your own vitamin business and Tastefully Simple. With GBG I only ended up spending money each month on vitamins and never made a dime in 6 months. With Tastefully Simple I have made a little bit of money and hope to be able to devote more time to that now that I am home full time. I love their products (www.tastefullysimple.com/web/socheltree). To make some extra money I have also down online surveys such as cashcrate.com and inboxdollars.com. With both of those you should create a "junk" email address to use such as a yahoo account because you get paid to take surveys, read emails, and sign up on different websites. You can make a little bit of spending money but I have never made more than $30 dollars or so. I am also trying to become a ChaCha guide. You get paid to answer questions people text to your email such as where is the nearest Subway and what time is the game. You only get paid 0.20 per question and each question will probably take you 1 to 3 minutes to answer. So, depending ont the time you put in you could earn $50 to $200/month, maybe more maybe less. Also, to earn a little more money I have decided to start watching another child in my home. I know it is hard and stressful, but hang in there and you will find a way to be with your little one. It may take giving up some financial pleasures (dinners, movies, etc.) but it is definitily worth it. I wish you the best of luck. You can also pm me with any questions. Take care. |
