| My 21 month old will not leave his diaper on! We took this as a cue to start potty training and he is doing really well. But he needs a diaper i the afternoon for a while since he doesn't communicate that he needs to go poo and at night. Since I am potty training i dont want to use anything like a onesie because we need to be able to get undressed quickly and pants and jumpers wont work either beause he can take those off too. He'd just rather be naked! Which wouldnt be that big a problem except he pees a lot at night and ends up sleeping in it (eww) and im not fond of cleaning poo out of the carpet! Any suggestions for keeping him diapered? |

| I am in the same situation. My 21 month old started stripping when he was about 18 months, because my older son who at the time started potty training. Whenever my older son, Nathan, has to go to the bathroom, he strips down then runs to the bathroom, so the baby, Lincoln, must do the same. However, Lincoln strips all the time. I allow him to sit on the potty and flush and then he washes his hands, but he never really pees in the potty. I don't mind him stripping down, except he'll do it after he's pooped, and if I am not right there to catch him, I end up with poop everywhere! So I have no advice for you, but can relate and understand your 'frustration'! |
