Chicagoland area - lookin 4 playmates 4 my 2yr old son

My son is 2 already. Time flies. I am the only one of my friends and family (in this area) that has a child. working full time doesn't allow me to meet playmates for my son that i can be part of evenings & weekends. anyone up for the beach or something on the weekend for the kids to play in the sand?
