| My daughter is about 9 and a half months, and she has started yelling all the time. when she is mad, when she is frustrated, when you dont give her what she wants, or just when she wants attention. I think she may have just figured out that she can change the volume of her voice. But she is sooooo loud, and she does it everywhere!! I have tried shushing her, or tell her no, and that didnt work. I tried ignoring it, but she really is so loud you cant ignore it. I am wondering if anyone else went through this, and how they handled it, and how long it lasts... I am not sure how much longer my ears can handle it! lol. any advice would be great, Thanks. |

| My son did the same thing I tought him a little bit of baby sighn language so that he could tell me what he wanted and didnt get so agervated. Some times I know that its hard but if she is screaming just to get the attention I would just exnore it or give her a time out I know at not even a year it dosnt sceme like it will help any thing but it dose. explain to her that she cant scream to get what she wants , Etc and make her sit in a scertan place or put her in a scretin chair for a min. |

| well we do baby sign language, and american sign language actually, but so far she only knows milk, doggie, and want (which is a two handed milk, lol) but i will try the time out... i knew that that was the path i was going to take as far as disipline, but i didnt know when i would start. though i do talk to her and explain things... which only feels wierd when i start to think about it lol. |

| My son did the same thing, right around the same age, unfortunately nothing really stopped him, i ended up keeping him home more, or out at parks, and eventually he just got tired of doing it, however he is now 2 1/2 and sometimes when he gets mad, or doesn't get his way he will scream extremely loud, because he thinks it will work, so i am still working on it too |

| My son does this but he is only 6 months so its hard to tell him no or anything. I noticed that he just likes to hear himself. |
