I have an eight month old girl and I am trying to teach her to use a spoon. If anyone has any tips to help me it would be great. |

With both of my children I started them out with a spoon they could grasp easily and bigger items so they could grasp the concept. Also Amelia Grace liked these cool finger spoons that slipped onto her finger and gave her more control. Practice makes perfect. Good Luck! |

Thanks for the tip. I guess what I really need is patience. I am also atempting finger foods and all she does is makes a big mess. She puts everything else in her mouth but not what she is suppose to. |

Yeah it's hard. I liked cooked pasta for the girls. I'd dry it off and let them go to town. Apples and dry cereal are good firsts too. Hang in there it's going to get easier! |
