While staying at home with your little one is a full time job in itself, I have taken on selling a nutritional beverage called Mona Vie. I don't know if you have heard of it before, but it is an AWESOME product and tons of fun to market. My aunt turned me on to it and it has been a wonderful experience ever since. I am not at the level is that she is yet (she is making about 56,000 a year or averaging about 900 a paycheck most weeks).
This isnt something that is going to come easy though, you have to work at it. You will get out of it what you put into it. You have tons of support from your team members and there is training everywhere! You meet tons of nice people and there are many many perks that come along with this product.
The reason why I ended up finally becoming a distributor for Mona Vie was for the nutritional value alone. I have a special needs son who has alot of feeding issues and he can not just eat an apple or a piece of fruit. I puree everything for him and this was something I could add to his food in every meal. It is great nutrition and I give it to my entire family. It is 19 fruits from all around the world all with amazing health benefits. If you are interested in checking it out, let me know. I would be happy to send you a sample bottle for you to try out. Most people experience great results. . .more energy, sleep better and lots of aches and pains go away once they start using it because it contains glucosamine for joint pain. It truly is an amazing product.
You can check out my website if you are interested at www.thegreatproduct.com/rnrhudson
You can also email me personally at rnrhudson@cox.net if you would like to talk to me directly about it.
If this is something you are not interested in, I hope you find something that works for you!
Take care! Robin Hudson (mom to the most amazing little guy ever!) |

I work for a lady down in Virgina (i live in Ma) she in turns works for someone else that gets all her work from a hospital from alot of various doctors. So I am not in a huge company so to speak. I make .06 cents per line. it is kinda mid stream pay wise. I have alot of medical background so she hired me without a course. I do know for medical they require something (unless yo have alot of background than sometimes you can luck out~~I did).. anyway. I make about 500-600 per month. it is like the more you work the more you make. also depends on work sometimes there is much. I do know there are transcriptionist that have been for a long time and they make a very decent amount of money working. so i do know it can be done. Right now i have been working since Oct so i am still picking up speed and what not~~ basically gaining experience as a transcriptionist. General transcptionist, I dont think you necessary need course. I heard from the site i am on that alot of woman that do the general had no experience or rightout of a course.
Do you have medical background?? if not you might want to check out general transcription as well. i heard it is alot easier. i do not know as i have only done medical.
If you have any questions i might answer you can email me mboutet22988@yahoo.com
i would be more than happy to get you that website work forum i belong too, or answer any quiestons.

Thank you for the response. I would love to get the info for the work forum you are involved in. My main goal is to make enough money to send my son to preschool. He has a neurological disorder called Polymicrogryia along with Microcephaly (smaller head, smaller brain). All of this affects his oral motor skills, feeding issues and speech. He is 2 1/2 and completely non-verbal. He goes to therapy at a wonderful place that also offers preschool with teachers who are trained in special education. But the cost is like $1000 a month! It would be totally worth it though, I love that place and it has already done wonders for my little guy! Any information you have to help me bring in some extra money would be totally appreciated! |

I am a SAHM as well, I wasn't really looking for anything and kind of came upon this on accident and WOW it's an amazing company. I have read books to my son since I brought him home and was buying books on a weekly basis. In March of this year a bigger town close to mine had a baby and Toddler expo. One of the "Vendors" there was a couple of ladies with a company called USBORNE BOOKS. They are based out of Tulsa OK. I asked them how I could get books at a discount ( its a childrens books company by the way) and they didn't have to say much before I was saying where do I sign up. Not only have I gotten a WHOLE library of Books for my son, but more sitting on my shelf. that I can do what I want with it, save them sell them give them as gifts. I have made commission on top of that and have purchased many things for my home that I wouldn;t have been able to otherwise and all I wanted from the deal was some free books or at best at a discount, it has exceeded my expectations, You'll have to excuse my excitement, I just got back from the USBORNE Convention that was held in Tulsa this past weekend I am pumped. It is a great company and their number one priorty is FAMILY. And best of all its you business so you can work when, where and how you want and the start up is hardly nothing. Let me know if you want more information. I also go into schools and libraries, and do homeshows. I haven't done many homeshows I really enjoy schools and libraries. It is a lot of fun. My son can go appointments with me to, he is my helper he shows and points out the books he likes best to the librarians.(he is 29 mos) |

I started selling Mary Kay cosmetics from home. THere was a $100 start up fee but I got $250 in makeup and tools to start doing facials. As an independant beauty consultant I am my own boss and this is my own business. It feels good to be able to say I'm a SAHM and I own my own business. All my clothes, hair and nail appointments are tax deductable as business expenses since my appearance is part of the job. I have my own website www.marykay.com/katiedenny where customers can order online. So I'm not limited to doing in-home shows. Even if selling isn't for you, if you like wearing Mary Kay makeup becoming a consultant gives you an amazing 50% discount-which makes everything about the same price as makeup at Wal-mart! That's what really sold me. I figured I'd just buy my makeup and some for my family (I have 3 sisters) on the cheap and any sales were all a bonus! If anyone is interested I can get you signed up in a flash! |

Hi I just joined this group and saw your posting. I decided to become a stay at home mom after my daughter was born, I was the one with separation issues! haha
I looked at so many different companies to work with (they all seemed like scams or too hard to make money doing) and finally gave up... then I stumbled across Uppercase Living and completely fell in love!
Check out my website http://ballard.uppercaseliving.net. The products will interest anyone (which makes selling products super easy), there are several things for anyone with any decorating style, and the prices are actually affordable.
Click on "join my team" it will go over a quick overview. Contact me anytime for more info, I'd love to help you get started and explain more about becoming an independent demonstrator. Alisonelaine00@hotmail.com.
I'm sure you'll have lots of questions and I can help answer them. Please contact me and we can talk more :)

Hi Robin!! Not a problem-I understand. But just FYI, when you fill out the info form-it comes directly to me, nobody else. I would be the ONLY one to call you and give you the info :) NO SALESPEOPLE :) But I don't sell any products. I am basically an account manager for a 23 year old Health and Wellness company. I open new customer accounts. I set my own hours, build my home biz around my kiddos, and love helping others. The team I am a part of is amazing-and I couldn't make it in this biz without them!! If you want, go ahead and fill out the form, it simply gives me your number so I can give you a call. No pressure for you to join me, just free details. I look forward to giving more info!! -Alicia |

I am a WAHM of a 4 month old little girl. After months of searching, I finally found a legit business that has helped me stay home with my daughter. Up until now, scams were the only thing I came across. If you are motivated, I can help you work from home as well. Thankfully, there's NO selling, ordering, parties or delivering of products, and we have so much support! Contact me if you want more details! Kristin |
