deer....
My oh my...

those deer LOVE to eat every single thing I plant. They even come up to my front door to eat my potted plants.
I have tried some deer repellent without much success.
Does anyone know of a good way to deter them or what flowers they won't touch??
Thanks!

hi michelle!
got love those deer! I live on the edge of waterworks property and see all kinds of wildlife imaginable and let me tell you the deer are just out of control around here! I have a large collection of hosta and it is premium eating for those silly deer! what i do is spray the hosta with a product called deer off by bromide after they come up and are about to open their leaves up and agian after they have growm up completely. this seems to work nicely so far and i've done it for four years now. those dummy deer tried attacking my roses too this past summer...ate only the pink ones so i tried spraying those as well and it worked ok. there are flowers out there that they don't like to eat and the plant nurseries are starting to lable them as such so keep an eye out for the little tag on these plants that show a deer croosed out in a red circle thing. I don't know whereyoulive but most spring bulbs deer hate so if you can plant those at least you will have flowers in the spring and i think they hate marigolds as well. hopethis helps. julie
