Hi l am a mother of 1, 7 month old girl. I don't want to get pregnant again, at least not any time soon, before I got pregnant I was using the patch it works for me, and when we wanted to get pregnant I took it off , and was pregnant within 2 months of taking it off, I want to use it again but recently I've been hearing so much negative things about it, blood cloth and heart attack I'm scared. I'm no good at taking any pills at all, the others scare metoo, any ideas or advice any one. |

don't know what to say... The only non- harmful way is natural family planning or condoms and such... Other than that all pills, shots or patches can have bad side effects because they mess with your hormones .... IUDs can cause cramping, bleeding or discomfort... And they don't prevent conception just implantation in the uterus... You can still get an etopic pregnancy.... I'm not trying to be negative but you just have to pick what's right for you by weighing the pros and cons.... Sorry, that's sucky advice |

Thanks Roxanne, I know there are so much pros and cons I was just hoping there is something easier that I'm not aware of. Lol. |

Try the IUD, the one that's hormone free(not the Mirena, that one has hormones in it), you can have it in your body for up to 10 years. I had mine for 9 years without any problems. No pills to remember. It's made out of copper. Your Dr. can insert it in a few minutes. Quick and easy. Good luck. |
