Hello! I know that our daughter Isabella (2yrs) is wise beyond her years, an old soul it seems. She had a very traumatic birth, and we think that she may have cerebral palsy. I was searching for a play group locally for children with special needs, with no such luck, but came across this group. I am glad to have found it. Bella doesn't do a lot of "talking", but she does communicate! She's brilliant, but can't always get her physical body to do what she wants. I hope to connect more with her through alternative communication techniques. Anyway, more later, and...Thank you for your time! |

That's wonderful! My Wyatt is 18 months old on the 19th and doesn't communicate verbally at all...there is a show on PBS every Saturday called "Signing Time". If you haven't seen it you should check it out...I have picked up a LOT of signs to teach Wyatt from there and he really enjoys the show! |
