Saying Hi
Hi I just recently joined raising them, and I am the mom to a beautiful 6 month old girl, and currently pregnant with number two, who I personally feel will be another girl. I just wanted to say hi

Hi Lorie

I am new here too :) I have five girls ages 24-14 and will be a grandma to our first grandchild in Sept., a little boy.

Hi Ruthy, Wow you certainly have a lot of experience raising girls! Congratulations on your newest future member! You have as many girls as my husband would like to have, but I keep reminding him that I am 33, not 23!

I know, I recently remarried and my husband wants a baby. I am 43 and I don't think I can do it again. My five girls are from my first marriage and he loves them dearly. He wants a girl :) and I am so done!

I don't blame you one bit. I think I will be all set with two, but maybe one more. How have you managed to keep your sanity over the years, 5 girls with PMS I can't imagine. I grew up in a house with 3 sisters and it was harry at times just for us, let alone our mother.

Hi. I have a daughter who will be 8 months on the 14th. I couldn't imagine having 4 more lol. I do want a boy though, then I'm done.

Hi Lorie & Sydney,

It has been an adventure as they are all so very different, but I would not trade it for anything in the world. Girls are great :)

Hi,
I just recently joined raising them as well, I have 4 boys, 11,13,16,17 and then along came my angel who is 2 years now. I never thought I would get this experience but man...it's wonderful, I love having a girl! I do feel a little at odds because now that I have her i've been so used to boys it's an adjustment...a welcomed adjustment though. Congrats to Lorie with baby number two!

Just a note: I recently opened a site that has adorable resale name brand childrens clothes LittleHandsBoutique.com. Feel free to check it out, there are some adorable little girls clothes, I get such a kick out of shopping for them and i've tried to price them extremely low. Anyway must go...my little angel A.K.A " The Boss" is calling me now!

Thanks Lisa and Yvonne for the congrats. We are very excited about baby number two, who I think is a girl. I can't wait to check out your web site and find some great clothes. Any of you ladies out there had one of your children turn into a devil baby at 6 months. Little Miss Ava, who is typically an angel has been miserable for a week now. Nothing I do makes her happy, she even cries for a half hour in her crib at night when I put her to bed, and for 4 months she slept perfectly. I am really not use to a fussy baby and its throwing me for a loop. She just had her 6 month check and the doctor said she was fantastic. Help!!

Hi Lori,

Maybe she is teething. I know my girlscried a lot when they were teething. Two of them were so bad they even had fever.
You might want to check if her gums are swollen. I use to take a new baby wash cloth wet it, put it in a baggy and put it in the freezer. They use to love sucking on it and that helped.

Thanks Ruthy, I asked that at the Doctors and she said it didn't look like it, but I have been thinking teething too. I am going to try the washcloth again tonight I haven't tried it in a few months and I forgot.
