confession for the day
I have these ridiculous red and white striped christmas socks that i had left sitting on the couch, my 9 month old daughter picked them up yesterday and was playing with them. just as a joke i put them on her, they were like leggings, they went all the way up to her diaper, and the heel was sitting behing her knee! but she looked so cute and she liked wearing them because of our hard wood floors she could just slide her legs when she crawled. well i left them on her all day and she fell asleep, i didnt want to wake her trying to get them off so i just left them. well she wore them for half the day today, and then i went to change her because we were going to my moms house. but when i tried to take the socks off she completly freaked out, so i just put them back on her to get her to stop. she has become quite a little diva and i try not to give in to her tantrums, and the socks did looked ridiculous, but i didnt want to ddeal with the melt down. but i guess i payed for it later because we stopped at subway for dinner and got quite a few stares for those socks.
lol, not that bad i guess but also partially funny. plus there hadnt been any conffesions for a while, maybe everyones on vacation stocking up their stories?

That is just TOO cute for words! You should get a picture of her with them on and show it to her when she's older I bet she'll get a kick out of it. Well I do have a story, sort of...I'll start with for 23 years of my life I was a nail biter, BAD, nothing my parents did could make me stop. But as an adult I realized how funny my wedding rings looked on my boyish hand so I started to grow them out and now they are nice and long and I have a hard time keeping them short and not jagged. Well I find myself scratching or jabbing a fingernail into my son every now and then. This morning we were playing in the floor while watching cartoons(short attention span) and he fell and I went to catch him and well I ended up scratching his forhead so bad it broke the skin, it didn't bleed but theres a mark. I feel so bad about that but not a whole lot I could have done there.

The sock thing was hilarious...

Me on the other hand, feel like a terrible mother. The past few nights, I've been staying up really late and sometimes didn't get to bed until 3am. My daughter usually wakes up around 9 am (and wakes me with her), however, this morning she didn't wake up until 11am!!! I didn't even wake up before then to see if she was OK or anything! She woke up fine, happy and giggling as usual, albeit hungry as a horse, but I felt terrible for sleeping in like that!

lol, dont worry i did get plenty of pictures, she was also wearing this cute little hat, so it looks even funnier.
and i wouldnt feel too bad amers, i once bumped Anna's head on the wall in the bathroom (we have a very narrow bathroom) luckily she didnt seem to notice, but i still felt really bad

I stay up really late too, unfortunatly my daughter (who was at one point not going to bed until 4 or 5 am and sleeping till around 12-ish noon.) gets up every morning at 9. i wish she would sleep until 11 just one morning, lol.
