Charise...try finger painting with vanilla pudding that you die different colors...that way if it gets into mouths it will be no big deal...Just a thought...you can get a bunch of the baby containers (Plastic ones that the peas/carrots/bananas are in) and fill them up and store with the lids in the fridge for that rainy day....fyi...

Tina. I love the idea of the baby food containers that way you can make a decent batch with all different colors. Thanks for the idea!

For the Grandparents, My son (4) and I made hand made cards. I helped him with cutting out the hearts  I let him glue his picture anywhere on the card. (Next time photo copies- lessoned learned) Once they dried gave him a few items like candy hearts and stickers to put into the envelopes. My mom got a kick out of getting stickers from her grandson in the mail.

Just recently out of necessity made myself a feeding reminder bracelet. It turned out nicely and it makes remembering when I fed him so much easier despite the sleep deprivation lol!

Kate, I am expecting my second one in early Sept and I have a 3 1/2 yr old son so I would love to hear more about this feeding bracelet can you give details it might be something I can use.

Sure Kyleen! There is a picture of the bracelet posted on my profile. Each of the silver spacers represents the hour (12, 1, 2, 3 etc.). Each bead represents 15 minutes, so there are three beads between each spacer. There are extra beads between the spacer that represents 11 and the one that represents 12 because I needed more beads to make it large enough for my wrist (it also helps me to remember which spacer is which. The charm is on a lobster clip and it gets moved whenever he eats. I put it to the right of the hour/minute closest to when he ate.

After reading all this I realize it might not make any sense, but it works I swear. Another way to do it would be to use numbers instead of spacers, but I couldn't find any that I liked. Let me know if you have any questions!Laughing

Kate, I just looked at the bracelet and I love that, you could probably market those on ebay, I bet you would make a killing!
