I am not sure what kind of help you are looking for. Easter Seals offers early intervention programs for children with autism. Many school districts do as well. I would try both of those avenues. There are many support groups out there for mothers of children with Autism, I do not know of one specifically, you would have to do an online search. Your child's pediatrician should be abIe to refer you to someone local. I worked as a therapist for children with autism and would be happy to answer any specific questions you may have to the best of my ability. I am not a trained professional (I don't have a PhD) just have many years experience. I am happy to help! |

When I was in school I did some clinical work with kids who are autistic at a play center where they had tons of things for the kids to do and interact. The results you see from this was amazing. Throughout the last year or so I also noticed a huge difference in kids who are autistic if they took a multivitamin that helped with their concentration. Good luck! If maybe I can help in any way I would be more then happy to... if I can. I would definitely look up some playgroups/play centers... |
