I'm having a heck of a time with my 2 year old and potty training. They were working with him at daycare, and he would occasionally pee pee on the potty, but since I've taken him out of daycare as of May 1 - he wants nothing to do with his potty. He started something new a couple days ago also, he is taking his training pants off and peeing wherever he happens to be! |

Oh marti Thanks for the chuckle even though it isnt a laugh for u when your little guy pees whereever but like with a big change in his life like leaving daycare could be why he is rebeling right now. Stick with it and it will be fine. Dont get mad or discouraged. Laura |

Hi Laura - glad I could give you a chuckle! Ya know, I just got finished house-breaking our Christmas puppy, I never thought I'd have to house-break my son too!!!!!! I bought more diapers yesterday, I think I'll wait on the training pants for now!
It is a huge adjustment for all of us right now, I've always been the working mom, and the kids in day-care/after-school care..... I lost my job in March - and we decided I will stay at home - at least through the summer. Part of me is loving it and part of me is thinking - this may be the loooooongest summer of my life! I have a 10 year old, along with my 2 year old - so there is a little conflict of interest there - it will be an experience for all...... |

My daughter does the same thing she will even go poop in her bedroom floor or where ever she wants then she will go get a diper wipe and pick it up take it to the potty and flushes it down the drain. She even stands there & go's pee where ever she is at. It makes me so mad. We put her on the potty every few hours and make her sit there tell we have read a book or something and if she pottys we give her a quater to put in her princess piggy bank and tell her how big she is. If we don't potty we don't get any thing. It will sometimes work out and some times it does not. We have tryed the cloth pants with plastick on over them but they just get hot and are nasty to clean up. I have been buying the walmart pull ups white cloud they are cheeper and you get more for you monney and with gass teh price it is every corner you can cut helps. Good Luck and happy potty training . melissa |
