Welcome to the area. My husband and I just moved out of Rochester to Madison Heights. We loved the Rochester area and the library is AWESOME for kids. My son loved going to the youth room. It got to the point where he could get there from anywhere in the lobby. :)
If you're interested, I also belong to a Mom's Group at the Clawson YWCA that meets every Thursday morning from 10-12. During the summer, we're doing park days since the Y has a day camp running. This week, we'll be at the YWCA's playground that's located at YWCA Crooks Road and 13 1/2 Mile Road. | Depending on where you live, it's not that far away. I think it only took me 20 minutes from Crooks & Hamlin |

| Thanks so much for the information. The next few weeks are busy but I would love to come after things settle down. We love the library too! Do you know where there is a petting zoo. My daughter wants to go see cows ( she saw them on Jon and Kate plus 8) |

I was told there was a petting farm around there, but we never got a chance to find it. When you go the library, ask at the information desk. They have all sorts of useful information there. Whenever I had a question about something in the community, they either knew the answer or could point me to someone who did.
