Potty training
Does anyone have any suggestions on potty training with boys. My son is 3 yrs. old and does not seem to want to use the potty. I am hoping he can start a pre-K 3 program in the fall but he can not be in diapers. Thanks. Maureen

Hi! I have a 3 year old boy (4 in Aug.) I potty trained him in 2 days. I did a lot of talking and building up to using the potty. I first showed him a little potty, let him play with it and sit on it (fully clothed), and told him what it's for. Then I picked a weekend that I could stay home and let him run around naked. I kept the potty in whatever room we were in. I picked a time of day that I knew he would have to pee or poop and started a video he liked and sat him on the potty while he watched. He did not want to pee or poop on the floor so the potty was the only other option. The next day he wore undies and did not like the feeling of being wet, so it was done from there. I just made it fun and did potty dances. (be silly!) Give tons of praise and don't make him feel bad for accidents. Good Luck!
