Hi!!!! My name is Sarah and I have a 10 month old daughter, Leslie. We are trying to find some playgroups in the area for us to join. She loves to play outside and swim. I am 24 years old and this is my first child. I am a stay at home mom.

I don't know of any active playgroups in the area but I have a friend who lives close that we do playdates. I am sure she would love to add others to our playdates. I have a 14 month old daughter and she has 13 month old twin daughters and a 5 yr old daughter. We both work but get together on the weekends or evenings. There is a website called Meetup.com that has lots of local playgroups. They have some annual fees but it is never more than 10 a year and you don't have to pay until you have been with the group for a month. The annual fees go towards the fee that the organizers get charged by the website. I am part of three different playgroups on this website. Mom and Tots, Friendswood Mommies, and Peaceful Beginings. Mom and Tots is in the La Porte, Pasadena, Deer Park area. Peaceful beginings is mostly in the Clear Lake and League City area.
