Hello! My name is Abby and my son is Alex (16 months). Obviously we live here in Woodbridge (Lake Ridge side). I'm originally from this area, but my husband (Mike) is a marine and we moved back here in October 2006 after being stationed in California for a year and a half. Guess what? Everyone I knew and/or talked to not including family has either a) moved on, or b) moved away. Yup, family is great to have around but they definately drive me crazy sometimes. lol.. Especially since the housing list is SO long that we're currently living in my parent's basement while looking to buy our first home. My son and I need friends!! We would love to have playdates or get everyone together for a big playgroup. If anyone wants to grab coffee and go to the park or walk the mall, let me know. Also, besides being a mommy I also would like to have some friends for myself as well. Maybe that makes me a bad person, but I would like to be able to have my husband watch my son and have some girlfriends to go to dinner with and see a movie every once in awhile without having to wipe someone's chin at the end (unless you really have a problem with drooling or something.. lol jk).
Give me an excuse to ditch cleaning for a day and let's take the kids and go have some fun. Look forward to talking with/meeting you all.

Hey Mary,
When you say Rippon Landing... do you mean you live in the naval housing across from Marumsco plaza? We used to live there, but my husband had to leave for 3 months to take a class in California so I had moved in with my parents and the baby for awhile.. turns out they had changed the policy for housing so instead of being on the inactive list... they had just dropped us off the list all together... we've been waiting FOREVER!! Anyways, I'd love to get together sometime. I'm going to give you my email address but you have to promise not to laugh.. lol I made my email address years ago (when I was 13, I think) and everyone has it so I just never changed it... | i promise i am not laughing (LOL). hey one of my emails was sporty from when i made it in hs. long, long time ago. actually rippon landing is off Rt. 1 / on one side is dale blvd, the other is rippn blvd. the whole area is farely new. my guess 5-10 years old. we live in the condominiums. i will email you at your address. |
