Katey, I am so sorry you are going through all this. Your pool lil guy. It breaks my heart when our little ones have to go through so much. When a child is ill it is very stressful, I know when my son was hospitalized with pneumonia I was on edge all the time. I got no sleep because I was in the hospital with him and then I had this one doctor that had no clue about kids with DS so that made me freak even more. Do you have a support team at all? Family members that are willing to help out when you need a break. Sometimes our kids just go through a streak of bad stuff before they really get better. Also take advantage of the social service program they have at your local hospital. Even if it means venting to a social worker...I did it our last stay in the hospital...girl didn't even know me but she sure did by the time I was done....
Keep your head up....I'll keep you and your lil guy in my prayers that he has a speedy recovery.
