Hi, I'm 41 and a new mom to a 8 1/2 month old. I'm so grateful that we have him. We're even trying to give him a sibling. My husband, who's 48, is worried sometimes that we're too old, but I tell him it's all in the way he thinks and feels about being a dad. We just have to train our brains to be happy that our son is in our lives. Does anyone know of any support groups in PA that my husband and I could attend for older parents? |

You can check with parents living in your area.

I am 52 and my wife is 40. We have a 2 year old son so you can do the math on how old I was when he entered my life. Yes, both of our lives chagned dramatically and we feel drained more often than not BUT I would not trade it for the world. I ask myself once a week "Am I too old to have a 2 year old" then I realize that he has made me feel younger and he has added years to my life (I lost 50 lbs and he makes me laugh).
