My baby used to eat well, almost anything I would feed her. For the last month, she will barely eat anything, but yogurt, crackers, squash, and cheese. At some feedings, she will only agree to eat cheese. Has anyone else experience this? I have read at this age they go thru different kind of eating fancies, but......
She also just starting get that one year old temper :) :).
Thanks in advance. |

My daughter is only 10 months and is going through the same thing. She stopped eating baby food about 6 weeks agao and now will only eat a few things. I feel like I waste food all the time becasue I am trying all this stuff then end up throwing it away. I was told by other moms that they all go through this and eventually they will grow out of it. I just try and try and I figure eventually I will find something else she can eat. Just know you are not alone. |

My daugher is also going through this at the moment (she's almost 2). She used to eat EVERYTHING and now she really only wants yogurt, mashed potatoes, corn, and rice. I think it is just a phase b/c some days she will eat tons and other days she's really picky. I usually try to get her to eat at least a couple of bites of what I'm giving her (which is usually what I'm eating) and if she still doesn't want it, I will give her something else. I think sometimes she doesn't recognize the food as something she likes until she tastes it and then she wants it. |

My daughter is like that. She is usually a very good eater and would eat anything I gave her. Now she is getting picky. I have limited her portions because I read that her tummy is only the size of her fist and give her more meals through out the day. This has helped some. If she won't eat what I give her at one "meal" she gets it again later and she usually does eat it becuase she is really hungry then. If you are worried about her nutrition try some recipes for the sneaky chief book and they taste good too. |

My daughter does this every once in a while too. She only wants cheese sticks, fruity yogart and rice pudding. She will go to the fridge, open it up, cuz she is tall enough, and grab a yogurt peel back the lip and eat it with her hands. I'm hoping it's just a phase, cuz baby can't live on dairy alone right? I try to offer other food but she puts her hands up and covers her mouth and turns her head away. I've found it's easier to just let her eat her dairy for a snack but for her next meal i make sure she gets an extra protein. |
