My name is Karen and I am a wife, mother who is trying to finally do something about loosing weight, inches whatever it takes. I have finally started walking for the last two weeks. I have seen some results but it would be nice to see more. I am diabetic also so loosing it is harder and bringing down my sugar levels is still a challenge even with walking. Welcom Karen and congrats on getting back on track with losing weight. The beginning is always the hard part. Remember to keep your body guessing and not let it get use to the same old exercises as it will start to get use to it and you will hit a plateau in weight loss. Have you tried anything with how you eat? I am not saying to go on a diet and not eat anything you love. I am talking about moderation and a cut off time. Let me know.
Thanks for your reply. I can understand, I know and see a difference. The eating is my biggest challenge as to portion control and cutting out certain foods. I will be trying a Boflex training soon as a friend has one, so that will be different. I am starting to swim a little more so that gives me a change besides walking.
