Hi, I'm Elena and I have a 18 mo. old son named Xavier (pronounced Hav-Yehr) whom we call Xavi (Havy). I think I have tried every cloth diaper known to man and have finally settled on Fuzzi Bunz.
We are expecting a baby girl in Aug. (through adoption like Xavi) and am looking forward to having her in the FB from day 1.
We're also a co-sleeping, unschooling family. I'm looking forward to trying (again) to do adoptive breastfeeding with the new baby. I was unsuccessful with Xavi for many reasons, not the least of which that he was 2 mo. old at adoption and already bottle fed for that whole time.
Glad to be here! |

Hi Elena! Welcome to the group! I also have an 18 mo. old son! Well, he will be 19 mo old next week already.
I use the old fashioned cloth diapers.
Good luck with the breastfeeding, that is so cool. Good luck with the new baby! Enjoy them while they are young. They grow up way to fast. |

Welcome - I use mostly bum genius - and prefolds (some reg and some bamboo ones), I also have 2 goodmamas and a clover that I love for letting my little ones bottom air out. We somtimes co-sleep she has started tossing and kicking more as she has gotten older. If you have any question or have anything to add please do so. lauren |

I put DS in DSQ Chinese prefolds at night with a big hemp doubler. That keeps my super-wetter from leaking all over the bed.
But I found them to be too bulky for during the day. He already has a bubble-butt (LOL) so with the PF he is hard to dress.
I am loving the pocket dipes. |
